Growing up in West Africa, the desire to learn is often met with the harsh reality of financial limitation. The NewGen Legacy Scholars Foundation was born out of an unyielding belief: financial hardship should never dictate a child’s future. Every day, thousands of academically gifted high school students in Benin are forced to abandon their studies, not because they lack capability, but because they lack funding.
Our foundation exists to bridge this critical gap. We do not just hand out scholarships; we build pathways to success. By focusing on secondary school students (collège and lycée), particularly those preparing for crucial exams like the BAC, we intervene at a pivotal moment in their lives. We provide comprehensive support that covers school fees, supplies, and basic needs, ensuring that our scholars can focus entirely on their education.
